Hi, my name is Justyne Vogel and I have over 12 years of experience working in education.  I have worked for Shakopee schools since 2014. I have my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Concordia University St Paul, my Bachelors of Science in Youth Studies and Positive Youth Development, and my preprimary endorsement.  My teaching license covers ages 3 to 6th grade! 

Outside of my classroom, I like to play outside and go on adventures with my husband and two boys, Ryan and Miles!  They are so fun and remind me to love, laugh and enjoy the little things.  One of our favorite places to explore is Hidden Valley park in Savage.  

In my classroom, I strongly believe in creating a positive classroom community where students can learn and play together!  I like to provide many different play activities where students can learn literacy skills, math skills, and social emotional skills.  You may hear your child coming home singing many of the songs we sing in school.  I also believe that parents are a child's first teacher and I promise that I will always do my best to work together with you and your learner for a positive school experience. I can't wait to meet you and your precious student!
