Annual Updates

  • Below is a checklist of annual update information that is collected or confirmed prior to the start of each school year and is accessible in Infinite Campus.  Many of these links/forms are similar to what a family/guardian would have completed during the initial enrollment process. Every student enrolled in Shakopee Public Schools for the 2022/23 school year should have each of the items completed prior to the start of school unless otherwise noted. Please note that incoming Kindergarten families do NOT need to complete the annual update.

    1. Log into Infinite Campus
    2. Complete general & emergency contact info
    3. Complete contact preferences (opt-in for text, check email preferences, update main contacts, etc.)
    4. Complete/Update household information
    5. Complete digital device agreement (if there is a student in secondary school)
    6. Complete/Update health information; immunization records can also be emailed or delivered to the school nurse
    7. Complete the Free & Reduced Meal form

    Note: An optional media-opt-out form is also available. Only complete this form if you do NOT want your child's photograph or likeness used in school-related publications.

Secondary Digital Device Agreement

  • As of the 2022/23 school year, the district will no longer offer device insurance for secondary students (grades 6-12). The district will maintain devices through a combination of capital projects levy funding and warranty agreements with the manufacturer. Secondary students/families will be required to review the updated digital device agreement during the online annual update process.

    The district will not cover damage or loss that occurs due to a dishonest, fraudulent, intentional, negligent or criminal act. Each family will be responsible for the full amount of any repair/replacement. Such acts include altering device software in any way that damages the device. It also involves repeatedly losing a device. To view the full digital device agreement, click here.

    General Reminders:

    • A protective case for iPads is provided by the school.
    • Earphones are NOT provided by the school.
    • Do NOT attempt to try to repair any digital learning device yourself.
