The Health Services team will be completing the required hearing and vision screening for all 7^th graders on specific dates in January during the school day at both East and West Middle Schools.  In addition, Children’s Dental Service will be available to provide a free, non-invasive dental health screening for all 7^th grade students.  The screening does not take the place of seeing a dentist, but it can help to identify emerging dental concerns.  If any concerns are noted, parents/guardians will receive a letter directly from Children’s Dental Service with the details of their child’s screening results. 

If you do not want your child to receive a dental screening, an opt-out form was emailed to all students. No action is required if you agree to have your child participate in this additional free screening opportunity.
