I have been teaching Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) for 15 years. I have taught at the Kindergarten level, in various types of preschool classrooms (center based, inclusion and itinerant), and have spent the majority of my career teaching Early Intervention (EI) or Birth to Three. 

I have B.S. in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and an add-on certification in Early Childhood from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. In 2017, I completed my M.A. in Early Childhood Special Education at the University of Minnesota. My current licensures through the Minnesota Department of Education are Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education. I have extensive training in Family Guided Routines Based Intervention (FGRBI) and coaching in early childhood. 

Being a mom to my two boys (8 and 6) has been the greatest and most challenging experience, and I owe it to my village to help me learn along the way. If not for the support of family, friends, daycare providers and teachers along the way, this road would have been far more bumpy. Most of all, I honor many mistakes that I've made, because they've made me a better momma and a better teacher. 

I value my relationships with families so much in the partnership we get to embark on when helping infants and toddlers meet their next developmental milestones. I believe that only after a trusting relationship is established, can the true work of shaping a child begin. I consider myself so lucky to have a career where parents trust me to join in their most important adventure.....raising little ones. :)
