Hello and welcome to first grade!

My name is Kelsey Nimmer and I will be your child's teacher this school year. I have been teaching for 6 years and have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, first and third grade. I am excited to meet and learn with my new students. They will be welcomed every morning with one of the 4 h's- handshakes, high five, hug or a hello. I let the students choose but I have noticed that our community is built quicker when I greet them each morning. Your child will be learning how to be a Saber this school year. We will be focusing on being respectful, responsible, positive and safe! 

A little about me: I live in Burnsville with my husband, Zach and our son Henry. We have two dogs named Reeses and Patch that we love taking for walks around the pond. This past summer, my inlaws bought a lake house and we had a wonderful time enjoying the water and sun!
