Degrees and Certifications:
University of Wisconsin- River Falls Major: Health and Human Performance Minor: Developmental Adapted Physical Education
Hello! My name is Kelly Voigt and I am the Physical Education (Phy Ed) and Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) teacher here at Jackson Elementary. My passion for learning new skills, being active, and having fun are characteristics I believe help make a Physical Education (Phy Ed) program successful. I am originally from Annandale, Minnesota, but now live in the cities with my husband Bryan. Much of our free time consists of traveling around the world, fishing, hunting, and spending time with our families.
I recently graduated from the University of Wisconsin- River Falls with a major in health and human performance (Phy Ed and Health), and a minor in Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE). I am also the 10A womens tennis coach, and a pole vaulting coach for men’s and women’s track and field.
I couldn’t be more excited to start this school year. I truly believe that physical education can have a positive impact on students learning, attitudes, and social skills; helping students develop as a whole. I look forward to working with each of my students!
