Hello Saber Online families! Welcome to our Class!
I am Danielle McCloskey and will be teaching 4th/5th grade students this school year!
Here’s a little about me: I grew up in the great state of New Jersey. I currently live in Chaska. My family consists of Ross and our three girls: Maddie (college), Rae (fourth grade) and Ren (starting kindergarten). We also have a dog named Oakly who I am sure you will see on our google meet sometime! I attended Augsburg College where I earned my teaching degree, then St. Kate’s where I earned my Montessori Degree. Later, I attended St. Mary’s University and received my Masters in Teaching and Learning. I have taught fourth, fifth, and sixth grade, high potential, and even taught in Australia for two years.
I am a huge animal lover! In my freetime I love to read, go walking, workout, watch movies, paint, play games, and cook with my family! I also do a lot of volunteer work with my dog as he is a therapy dog and visits a lot of places like libraries, children’s hospitals, veteran’s hospitals and assisted living homes.
This will be my 3rd year teaching online and there are so many parts of being online that I love and I hope you will too! Each day is different and I promise you will build relationships with your classmates and have fun while learning. I want you to know that I believe in you and will always be doing my best each day to make you feel successful, supported and that you are important to our class.
