District Financial Challenges Community Forum, July 26
A second Community Forum will be hosted in the Thrust Stage at Shakopee High School on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 6:30-8pm. A previous forum was held at the same location on May 10, 2021.
This event, focused on the district's financial challenges, is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend. Superintendent Mike Redmond, Finance Director Bill Menozzi, School Board Chair, Kristi Peterson and School Board Treasurer, Joe Aldrich will host the event. The Forum will focus on continued discussions related to the district’s financial challenges and include engagement opportunities and questions from community members.
The Forum will also be livestreamed on the district’s YouTube channel.
Questions for the Forum can be submitted via email to communications@shakopee.k12.mn.us until 1pm on July 26. Those attending in person will be able submit questions on site. Questions submitted will be addressed either during the forum or via a follow up from the Superintendent’s Office.
