Wellness Policy

Every three years the district takes a close look at Wellness Policy 533. This triennial assessment is our opportunity to review the existing policy and explore how effectively we are fulfilling our requirement to promote health and wellness to the student population. The triennial assessment is a required component for districts who participate in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Shakopee adopted MSBA Model Policy 533 in 2005 and the policy was revised in November 2022.
