NEW: Transportation/bus opt-in required for eligible students in Grades 9–12 who live more than 1.5 mile from Shakopee High School. Students may select morning and afternoon transportation or opt-in for only one via Infinite Campus. Students with an IEP will continue to work with their case manager.

  • Academies of Shakopee students who are enrolled in the Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) have the opportunity to visit their school year host site during this time as well. See the CAPS Host Site Event tab for more information.

To receive a parking permit, process the application and payment in Infinite Campus/Parent Portal/School Store. The fee is $100 for the year with pro-rated fees depending on the date of purchase and use. Guidelines will be shared during Schedule Pick-Up Days and Open House. Please show receipt of purchase to pick up the parking pass. Once school starts, parking passes can be picked up in the Main Office.

Saber Connection, managed by Shakopee Community Education, provides a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for students before and after school, on non-school days throughout the school year and summer.

The program, which will be available starting in Fall 2026, supports families by offering extended-day care and meaningful learning opportunities that align with the district’s goals and our compelling vision for student success.

Saber Connection serves students enrolled in Stepping Stones Preschool at Pearson Early Learning Center and all five Shakopee elementary schools (Grades K–5). The program offers flexible scheduling options and focuses on academic support, enrichment, recreation and social development through a balance of structured activities and play-based experiences that help students learn, connect and grow.

Shakopee High School is proud to offer various athletic opportunities. East and West Middle School students can tryout for select High School athletics throughout the school year. The MSHSL determines grade eligibility for select sports. Alternative programs may be available through select youth associations or Shakopee Community Education.

Sabers Summer Strength programs started on June 8 for incoming High School students; Saber Power for middle school students kicked off at the same time. Information can be found on athletic website > Training Haus. 

Registration for Fall athletics opens August 1, 2026. Practices start August 17, 2026.
