Ms. Beth Masters

Welcome to my website.  I love teaching at Eagle Ecreek, and am looking forward to learning and exploring many new things with my students this year.

I love art!  I am always looking for ways to use art in the classroom to enrich our learning environment, enhance lessons, and forge connections with students. Art and education are such a natural fit, and I enjoy using art to inspire students.

In my free time, I love to draw (big surprise!).  I also like to spend time out outdoors with my camera, taking photographs of birds and animals in nature.  I was a volunteer monitor of an osprey nest for the Three Rivers Park District.  I documented the hatching and growth of the fledgling ospreys for several summers and wrote a book about it for elementary students.

I grew up in Minnesota, so I like all of the winter sports.  I like to ski and ice skate in the winter, and rollerblade and kayak in the summer.  I can also juggle and walk on stilts, but not at the same time!  Most of all, I enjoy being with kids, and feel very fortunate to be able to come to work with my terrific students every day.
