Welcome to 2nd grade! As your child's teacher, I believe in a hands-on approach to learning and feel children achieve thier personal best when encouraged to be themselves.

I began my teaching career in Shakopee and have always taught either 1st or 2nd grade. During my years in the district, I obtained a Masters Degree in Education and received a certification in Gifted and Talented instruction. In my free time I enjoy traveling, exercising, spending time up north with my family, and watching my two boys (Brock and Jake) play sports. 

I truly love teaching 2nd graders at Red Oak! :)
