    • Band - reading the first 5 pitches on the music staff

In band, we learn to play an instrument as well as read written band music.  The faster and more fluently you can identify pitches from the music staff, the more musical your playing will sound while reading.  Frequently use FLASHCARDS, LEARN, and the games (click "MATCH" and "GRAVITY" on the side) to increase your speed in reading pitches for your instrument.

      Flute

      Clarinet

      Alto Saxophone

      Tenor Saxophone

      Trumpet

      Horn in F/French Horn

      Trombone

      Baritone/Euphonium
