We're launching a new Room Parent pilot program at Red Oak to increase parents' engagement with classrooms and the school community.

ROOM PARENTS WILL. . .

• Organize volunteers for class projects and events.
• Represent their class (students, parents, and teacher) at PTO meetings every couple of months.
• Offer fresh ideas and feedback to the PTO on school-wide events and initiatives.
• Help keep parents updated on class news.
• Serve as a liaison for fellow parents, the classroom teacher, and the PTO.
