Safe Snacks

  • This is to inform you that there are one or more children in your child’s classroom that have special dietary precautions.  These students have a severe allergy to peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs. (Cashews, pistachios, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, pecans, almonds and walnuts.)  If ingested, this allergy could be life threatening.

Please avoid sending snacks to school that contain nuts or eggs.

If you plan to bring classroom treats, it’s a good time for you and your child to think about the selection of healthy and nut free foods.  You may also want to consider non-food items for birthday and other celebrations.
