I work to provide support for students with personal, social, emotional, and academic achievement needs through targeted guidance, outreach, consultation, and education services. I also develop and implement educational programs and professional development with the efforts of bridging the gap between schools, parents/guardians and communities while collaborating with school staff and administrators.
I do this work because I believe all students deserve an equal opportunity to a high quality education. I am very passionate about fostering and empowering students to strive for academic, social, and emotional excellence.
A little about myself: I was born in Nigeria and have nine siblings. My family and I migrated to the U.S. in 1998 because of a war that was going on. I moved to St. Louis Park, MN where I attended high school. After high school I attended Lincoln College in Illinois on a dual athletic scholarship in track and soccer. I later came back to Minnesota and and attended Augsburg college. I am married with two beautiful baby girls. I am a certified Tax professional. I have worked as a lead teacher, dean of students, athletic coach, and now a member of the Shakopee Equity team.
