Stepping Stones Preschool Registration

Stepping Stones Preschool Students
  • Stepping Stones Preschool offers a wide range of preschool options. Programs include half-day preschool and full-day programming (7:00 am - 5:30 pm) when combining preschool and extended care through our partnership with the River Valley YMCA. Children must be 3 or 4 years old as of September 1 of the school year that they plan to attend and independently potty-trained - no diapers or pull-ups.

Space is limited and will be reserved based upon order of registration.

Step One - Register

  • Registration confirms your spot in the program (once approved). This is only one step of an easy two-step process.

Once an account and family profile has been set up in Eleyo, you will be able to register for classes.

An $80 non-refundable annual registration fee is required to hold your spot and major credit cards are accepted. Your first payment will not be due until August 15, 2024 and billed monthly thereafter.

Step Two - Enroll

  • Once you’ve successfully registered your child(ren), you will receive a confirmation email with a link to complete the final online student information packet required for a certified preschool program. This link will direct you to Infinite Campus and the information must be completed upon receipt.  Thank you for completing in a timely manner.

Scholarships

  • There are two scholarships that Stepping Stones Preschool families can apply for, one with funds coming from the State and the other State funds that are issued by our school. To be eligible for an Early Learning scholarship, families must live in Scott County and have a child who is 3 or 4 years old by September 1 of the current school year and not yet eligible for kindergarten. A family must have an annual income at or below the income guidelines. A family must reapply each year.

Please contact Elaine Berens at 952.496.5861 or eberens@shakopee.k12.mn.us for specific information on how to apply for an Early Learning scholarship and income guidelines. Applications for the 2024/25 school year will be available after May 1st and awarded after July 1st per State guidelines Families that are over the income guideline but are experiencing a family hardship may receive alternative scholarship consideration.
