I am originally from Spain. I received my B.S. from Saint Cloud State University in Spanish and Education and I earned a master's degree in teaching and learning from St. Mary's University. I have been teaching Spanish at Shakopee High school since 2003. I also coordinate the Shakopee-Spain exchange program. Teaching my own language is the most fulfilling experience I have ever had, and I cannot think of anything else that I would like to do in the future. When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Joel and my daughter, Marina. We enjoy to travel to visit our families to Spain during the summer and to Mexico during Christmas break.
