I started my teaching career in NC teaching at a middle school shortly after it had been hit by a hurricane. Upon my return to the Midwest my wife and I moved to Minneapolis area where we have been ever since. During my tenure in Shakopee I have taught in three different buildings and three different grade levels. I love teaching and finding ways to make Science exciting for middle school students.

Outside of school I have a few hobbies that keep me busy. My wife and I enjoy traveling and trying new restaurants in the Minneapolis area. One of our favorite trips was to NYC where we were able to see a few celebrities, eat good food, and see lots of interesting sights. I play on a competitive kubb team that travels around the Midwest.  I have traveled to Sweden to play in the Kubb World Championships twice. Our last trip we took 4^th place.
