Britannica School Middle: Encyclopedia content for middle school grades plus multimedia, timelines, world atlas, country comparison, and primary sources.
Country Reports: CountryReports provides over 35,000 pages of online content on the cultures and countries of the world.
Explora Teens: Contains middle and high school-appropriate magazine, journal, and encyclopedia articles and also includes primary source documents, reference books, and multimedia.
Kids InfoBits: Popular elementary school magazines as well as encyclopedias and newspapers written for kids, plus an image collection of photos, maps, and flags

Search the Scott County Library's online subscription databases on the Online Resources by Subject or All Online Resources (A-Z) pages. You will need your Virtual Student Library Card to access these databases. The following databases may be particularly helpful for your school research:
Biography in Context: A comprehensive database of biographical information throughout history, around the world and across all disciplines and subject areas.
Historical New York Times: Complete back issues (including images) from the first issue in 1851 through 2013. (Note: To get to this database, select the database "News- The Historical New York Times" from the list on the top left of the screen.)
Issues and Controversies: Essays written to give students a thorough review of all sides of a topical issue or controversy.
