Hello! My name is Denise Bade. I have been teaching for over 30 years.  I started in the Shakopee School District in 2003.  My most recent assignment, since 2013 is at Eagle Creek as the Instructional Coach.

I have taught all elementary grades, high potential, title one and Reading Recovery. I was a literacy coach for eight years previous to taking this position. I am so excited to work with all Eagle Creek teachers and students.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Mankato State University and a Master’s Degree from Saint Mary’s University. I have a Reading Recovery endorsement from North Dakota State and a Literacy Coaching Certification from The Ohio State. I also work with the U of M as a writing consultant through the MN Writing Project.  I love learning and going to school.

I am excited to continue my learning as I work alongside teachers again this year. We will explore various strategies to help our students grow academically and engagement techniques to help our students have fun and remember what they are learning.
