Welcome to Stepping Stones Preschool at Pearson Early Learning Center (PELC) and the 2024/25 school year! I’m Sarah Moline, the new Administrator at PELC.  On behalf of our staff, we are thrilled to welcome you and your child to a school year that will be filled with learning and fun!  

Each child’s preschool information, including the child’s teacher and classroom, will be mailed to homes starting August 6, 2024. If you have any questions about your child’s classroom placement, please contact the office at 952.496.5862. Classes begin Thursday, September 5 unless otherwise noted due to class/program type and registration. 

Our goal is that your child feels excited about coming to school. To help with the transition, we will be hosting two (2), in-person Connect & Celebrate events for students and families. Connect & Celebrate will be an open-house format. Please plan to attend during your child’s normal class time. However, you are welcome to attend any session that best fits your schedule. 

During Connect & Celebrate, you will have the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, explore their classroom and turn in/fill out any remaining forms. 

We have included some additional back-to-school details in the mailing and also below.  

As a reminder, our program is tuition-based. This means that our program relies on monthly tuition payments to provide preschool as part of Shakopee Public Schools.
