The Shakopee Alumni Association (SAA) would like to thank community members who submitted nominations. "The number of nominees we receive is growing each year, and the board had outstanding nominees to consider again this year," said Stephanie Bode, Chair of the Shakopee Alumni Association. "The board had a spirited and exciting discussion, which resulted in the induction of individuals who we feel are deserving of respect and admiration for their contributions to their profession, community or both. We are excited to honor and celebrate these individuals as part of our Homecoming festivities this fall."
The SAA, together with Shakopee Public Schools, is looking forward to celebrating the 2017 Hall of Fame class during Shakopee High School's Homecoming on Friday, September 22. There will be a variety of events including a luncheon, induction ceremony and plaque unveiling at the high school. There will also be a pep fest celebration, alumni meet and greet during the Homecoming football game and a special introduction of our new Hall of Fame inductees at halftime.
