Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) - Now: SUN Bucks EBT

  • The Summer EBT (S-EBT), now has a new name: SUN Bucks. SUN Bucks is a federally funded program that provides families with school-aged children who qualify for free or reduced eligibility with one-time $120 payment to purchase healthy foods while school is not in session.

    Qualifications are determined, and the benefits are distributed by the Minnesota Department of Education and the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
