2024/25 Meal Info

  • Important Note: While school meals (breakfast and lunch) are free for the 2024/25 school year, educational meal benefit applications are still necessary and impact family options as well as school funding. 

    Due to recent federal and state updates, one free breakfast and one free lunch will be provided for all K-12 students. No action is needed to receive free meals.  

    SECOND MEALS, SECONDARY ALA CARTE AND EXTRA MILK ARE NOT COVERED 

    See the table for second meal/extra milk prices. A student must have funds in their meal account to purchase any of the above. Secondary prices do not include á la carte items. A student is not able to forgo the free breakfast and apply towards an extra lunch. 

    Students that bring their own lunch should clearly label bags and containers.

    Food Service/Meal Payment System

    Infinite Campus can be used to fund meal accounts or check a balance via the web or mobile app. Information on how to access Infinite Campus can be found here.  Click here for helpful details on how to access the Food Services/Meal section or follow the below easy steps.

    1. Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal
    2. Go to the More section and choose Meal Benefits
    3. Start the application process and simply enter basic household/ family information

Secondary Extra entrée or second full meal Lunch At the secondary schools we offer a second serving of the main entrée. The cost for the second entrée is $3.00. A full second meal is $5.00.

Angel Funds

  • If you would like to donate to the Angel Fund to help students with negative food service balances, you can do so in Infinite Campus. Click here for helpful details.  If you would like to transfer a positive food service meal balance to the Angel Fund, please contact food services at 952.496.5141.

    If you are having problems making meal payments for your child or if you feel your student's account has been misused, please call our office for assistance.  

Visitors & Food Delivery

  • Visitors Eating Lunch at School

    If you plan to join your child for lunch, please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your child's assigned lunch time. Standard visitor safety procedures apply. A school lunch may be purchased by a visiting adult; availability varies as student lunches take precedent.  The cost of the lunch is $5.00 for visitors.

    Food Delivery

    Frequent food delivery by a family member for student consumption is not encouraged. Food delivery (i.e. delivery orders) for students is prohibited during school hours.

    Please note, Shakopee High School has a closed campus and therefore, students will not be excused to leave the building during their lunch period.
