Do you like making and creating things? Do you want to learn how to do hands-on work with tools? If so, Manufacturing and Construction is the course for you. In this course, you will learn how to safely design and build fun projects with a variety of different materials and tools. This is the introductory course for the Manufacturing and Fabrication program of study and a great choice for students who are interested in woodworking, welding, plastics, construction or skilled trades. Begin your path to learning about the high-demand, hands-on careers of the future.

This project incorporates layout, measurement, drill press operations, band saw operations, routing, and finishing. Students have the choice between three different designs: a fish, canoe paddle, and heart pattern.
