• Students who are enrolled in the Environmental Sciences Program of Study, will complete a three course sequence in which they will learn about what it means to be environmentally friendly. They will learn ways in which they can help prepare future generations to be more knowledgeable of issues that exist, and what ways we as a society can go about creating solutions to make these ideas a reality in our communities.

    The three course sequence consists of Introduction, intermediate, and an advanced course. For the Environmental Sciences Program of Study students will work through the following sequence:

    Introduction

    Energy, Food, and The Outdoors

    Intermediate

    AP Environmental Science (Future Course)

    or Environmental Sustainability (Future Course)

    Advanced

    Environmental Ethics and Ecology

    Students who might enroll in this Program of Study would be interested in careers in the following fields: Natural Sciences Managers, Environmental Engineer, Green Technology and Alternative Energy Designer, Geoscientist & Conservation Scientists, Mining and Geological Engineer, along with many other careers that relate to environmental sciences.
