Manufacturing & Fabrication Technologies

  • Students who are enrolled in the Manufacturing and Fabrication Technologies Program of Study, will complete a three course sequence in which they will learn both the designing stages of a project, project management techniques to complete that project, as well as how a project is actually built using the various mediums we the Engineering and Manufacturing Academy has to offer (wood, metal, etc.).

    The three course sequence consists of Introduction, intermediate, and an advanced course. For the Manufacturing and Fabrication Technologies Program of Study students will work through the following sequence:

    Introduction

    Manufacturing and Construction

    Intermediate

    Welding and Metal Fabrication

    Wood Production Technologies

    Advanced

    Manufacturing Design and Development

    Advanced Welding – Design & Fabrication

    Advanced Woodworking – Cabinetry & Furniture

     

    Students who might enroll in this Program of Study would be interested in careers in the following fields: Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer, Packaging Engineer, Process Engineer, Robot Technician, Quality Engineer, Tool and Die Maker, Welder, Machinists, and Cabinet Maker.
