All Shakopee Public Schools board meetings are open to the public. Work sessions and meetings are generally held on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 6 p.m. All meetings/work sessions are held at the District Office (1200 Shakopee Town Square) unless otherwise noted in the master calendar. Meetings are also livestreamed on the District's YouTube channel and saved for future reference.
- All board meetings are open to the public.
- The board meeting agenda is posted at the district office by Friday afternoon prior to a meeting/work session as well as online (see link on this page).
- Board meeting minutes are posted in the public notice section of the SUN newspaper (minutes prior to April 1, 20224 were published in the Shakopee Valley News) and the website under 'Board Meetings' once approved.
The 2024 school board meeting calendar can be found here.Each agenda includes a public comment section. The maximum time for public comment related to the agenda is a total of 15 minutes. Individual speakers will be allowed no more than 2.5 minutes. Please reference Shakopee Public School's Policy 206 for additional information. Public comment requests can be submitted to communications@shakopee.k12.mn.us no later than 5pm prior to the meeting. Additional public comment requests can be made onsite, the day of the meeting, starting at 5:30pm.

If you have questions or trouble accessing a file, please contact Communications@shakopee.k12.mn.us Minutes are posted once they are approved by the School Board Clerk and Board at the next applicable meeting. Agendas are posted by 3pm on the Wednesday to prior to a meeting; the agenda is also posted at the District Office. Video recordings of each meeting are also archived on the district YouTube channel.
