Help Me Connect is a state online navigator which can connect parents (and expecting parents) to local resources in many different areas including childcare, developmental and behavioral concerns, disability support, mental health, dental health, legal concerns and basic needs.

Tech Packs for Job Seekers
Scott County Library is providing Tech Packs for residents over the age of 18 who are experiencing job loss/layoff, reduction in work hours or delays in the hiring process. These are available on a limited basis and can be checked out for 90 days.
This Tech Pack includes a connection to a hotspot to connect to the internet; a laptop with charger and free job hunting resource information.

CAP Agency
CAP Agency coordinates various social services for Scott County residents including childcare resource and referral, crisis nursery, food shelf, thrift store, housing assistance, WIC program, and heat/energy assistance programs. Call the Shakopee office at 952-496-2125.WIC voucher pick up is from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. the second Monday, third Thursday and fourth Tuesday of each month at the CAP Agency, 712 Canterbury Road South in Shakopee.
